This garage conversion creates a private, independent living unit for a young adult while keeping the family close. The unit includes a private entry, full living area, complete kitchen, full bathroom, and a dedicated bedroom—designed for comfort, efficiency, and modern everyday living. The remodel unlocks underused space, supports multigenerational living, and adds long-term property value.

Design Strategy

We focused on maximizing privacy and function within the existing footprint. Careful space planning, multi-functional storage, and durable, low-maintenance finishes make the unit feel spacious and comfortable. Systems were chosen for energy efficiency and long-term reliability so the ADU works equally well as independent housing, a future rental, or a guest suite.
